剎車片能直接體現(xiàn)出制動效果的好壞，所以剎車片在汽車制動系統(tǒng)中是關(guān)鍵直接的部件。剎車片一般由地板、粘接隔熱層和摩擦層構(gòu)成，剎車片的隔熱層是由熱的不良傳導(dǎo)材料及增強(qiáng)材料組成，剎車片的摩擦層是由增強(qiáng)材料、粘合劑及填料組成。一般采用液壓傳動于剎車鉗的活塞推動剎車片和剎車盤或鼓接觸磨擦轉(zhuǎn)化為熱能，從而達(dá)到減速制動的作用。

首先要檢查所換剎車片是否是純正配件，產(chǎn)品包裝的完好性、防偽標(biāo)志及包裝標(biāo)識與剎車片上的標(biāo)識是否一致，產(chǎn)品型號是否和合格證內(nèi)容相符。在將車輛舉升這前，應(yīng)先將盛放剎車油的覆蓋打開，輪胎螺絲應(yīng)對角松動。如果使用簡易千斤頂支撐時，應(yīng)將千斤頂支好，并加固不更換剎車片的輪子。將輪胎卸下，松開鉗體緊固螺釘，并檢查螺釘、鉗滑動導(dǎo)桿，清除上面的泥沙及油污，并上潤滑油保養(yǎng)。將舊剎車片拆下，檢查剎車盤的磨損程度，是否起溝起糟。嚴(yán)重磨損應(yīng)更換新的剎車盤，其周期為8—12萬公里，否則會加快新更換的剎車片的磨損，且制動時方向抖動，制動力過校
